paper sourceThe Village of Rochester Hills is excited to welcome to its family of stores Paper Source, the premier-est of premier paperies.

What’s a “paperie,” you ask?

Much in the way a tailor makes fine suits and a chocolatier prepares something sweet, a paperie makes the finest stationery.  Paper Source takes it a step further by offering products that inspire creativity and provide humor and enjoyment in celebrating the most memorable of life’s moments.

j.jillJ.Jill to Open New Store at The Village of Rochester Hills, Rochester Hills, MI,

J.Jill opened its first retail store in 1999 with a promise–to delight and inspire women with easy, relaxed style and to provide personal, helpful and guiding service. Today, J.Jill continues to deliver on that promise with a new store opening at The Village of Rochester Hills, giving the women of Rochester Hills easy, relaxed and inspired style and a helpful shopping experience.

“The J.Jill shopping experience is personal and inspired–we want our customers to know that we understand them and that we know what is important to them,” said Chris Gayton, Senior Director of Brand Marketing. “Our talented and dedicated in-house design team creates collections that will delight, inspire and evoke confidence in the women of Rochester Hills.”

In early 2013, J.Jill set out to create a deeper connection in the hearts and minds of their customers. The result was a new guiding brand concept–“uncomplicate”–representing a way of living and a way of saying: “I lead a rich, full life and I know what is important.” This new concept represents how J.Jill simplifies both shopping and dressing, giving customers more time to focus on what is important to them. “Uncomplicate” is now woven into every customer touch point.

J. Jill will celebrate the opening with a weekend Grand Opening Event 10/25-10/27. A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit The Jean Ledwith Kings Women’s Center of Southeastern Michigan. J.Jill has a long-standing commitment to support women in the communities where its stores are located.

Customers can visit the newest J.Jill store at 312 North Adams Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48309.

Celebrity Chef Michael Symon Chooses the Village of Rochester Hills for Michigan’s First B Spot Burgers - Offically opens May 24, 2014 at 11:30am

img_0190The Village is excited to be the first location for B Spot in Michigan. Michael Symon, the lively award-winning, soul-patched chef with the devilishly fun laugh on the Food Network, has a love for burgers, and he wants to share it.  He started B Spot Burgers so he could have free reign to design unique, mouthwateringly delicious burgers, among other items, which feature his famous “meat on meat” style — stacking additional meat on his burgers. But to date, the B Spot has only existed in and around Cleveland — until now!

Chef Symon has a few locations planned for Metro Detroit, but the Village’s B Spot will be first!

“We’re excited to welcome B Spot Burgers and Chef Symon to the Village and are very proud to be chosen as the first location in Michigan,” said Scott Aikens, Vice President of Leasing, from the Village of Rochester Hills. “Chef Symon is full of personality and from his TV appearances, it’s evident that he wants to make food fun, which we have no doubts he’ll do for B Spot at the Village.”img_0193

B Spot Burgers will have something for everyone — you don’t even have to be a big fan of burgers to find something on the menu that’ll fit your fancy.

The menu boasts more than a dozen handcrafted burgers straight from the mind of an Iron Chef. Patrons can also elect to create their own burger by choosing from approximately 40 different toppings.

BUT there’s more to the B Spot than burgers! The B Spot’s array of non-beef menu items includes sandwiches, brats, sausages, salads, appetizers and, one of the coolest, most unique features you’ll find anywhere — the serve-yourself pickle bar where you can pick and choose from a wide range of vegetables pickled to give them a hot, spicy or tangy finish.

img_0194Stop at the B Spot for a drink too! There will be plenty of craft beers, plus cocktails and shakes at the U-shaped bar at the Village Spot that will be outfitted with an urban vibe and can seat 70 patrons comfortably (with an additional 20 on the patio) in what will be a 2,700-square foot diner.

B Spot officially opens on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 11:30am!
